Here and Now - Stewardship 2023

Stewardship season at Round Rock Presbyterian Church is special—a time we set aside for peaceful reflection, careful reassessment, and thoughtful planning. It is a time when, both individually and collectively, we thank God for the blessings of abundant resources and spiritual gifts with which to serve our community and others. The challenges and opportunities are many, but we have proven time and again that we have what it takes to respond effectively to the call. In 2022, we planned, learned, served, dreamed, listened, worked, and rejoiced in many new and exciting ways. 

Today, at this time and this place, we are ready as never before, and that is reflected boldly in this year’s Stewardship Theme: 

Here and Now: Using God’s Gifts to Serve the World. 

Each of us has a unique role to play in God’s plan of action. As we prayerfully discern what those gifts are and how they might best be used in service to Round Rock and far beyond, we all need to ready ourselves:

• First, read Matthew 25:31-46 and pray for the vision of what that means for Here and Now. 

• Second, please pray for our church and our community as we move forward on faith from this time and this place.

• Third, prayerfully consider pledging your time and spiritual gifts to one of our teams, committees, or Discipleship Formation classes.

• Fourth, make a financial pledge to support our programs, missions, staff, and facilities.

• Fifth, celebrate that you are God’s beloved, Here and Now—and always.
