Ash Wednesday is the day we remember our own mortality. It is the first day of Lent and we begin by remembering the very thing, that Jesus came to save us from. . .death. This year, it will look a little different. We will also remember the many people who died this year as well.

In remembering our own mortality and the death of our loved ones this year, we also remember that God does not stop with death, resurrection is right around the corner.

Please join us on February 17 for our Ash Wednesday Service at 7:00p.m. on Zoom for a service of remembrance and repentance.

Instead of Ashes this year, we are asking everyone to make a little mud for yourself and your family. Take a little dirt from a flower pot, a plant or the ground, mix it with a little water, and come prepared to mark yourselves and those in your home with the sign of the cross as we remember that we are dust and to dust and the earth we will return.
