Our Session has decided that in accordance with Williamson County guidance, all in person church gathering will be cancelled for 8 weeks. In addition, this means that we will not be having Holy Week worship service and Easter Sunday service in person. This also means the church building will be closed to all other meetings and groups.
Our Round Rock Presbyterian T-Shirts say, "The Church has Left the Building." Do you believe this is true? Can the church be the church wherever we are, whether gathered in the same building or not? I wholeheartedly say the answer is YES! This opportunity has the possibility of enriching our spiritual lives, deepening our connection with God and with each other. The Holy Spirit has been and will continue to birth new things through this pandemic.
I will be sending out emails twice a week throughout this time. Please reach out to me directly if you need anything. Your church family is here to help.
I encourage you all to check in on our Facebook page for Sunday worship where you can, pass the peace online, share your thoughts about the scripture, and share your prayer requests. You can find our page by searching Round Rock Presbyterian.
You all bless me each and every day and I am grateful to be your pastor.
With love and gratitude,
P.S. - A plastic bucket is being set outside of the main entrance of the Sanctuary where you can drop off canned foods for the blessing box. One small way to serve during this time. Canned foods only please.
